CleanScan · Tester build

Install CleanScan

This is the real CleanScan app — a signed test build that talks to the staging server. It updates only when you install a new copy from this page.

Download for Android (.apk)

Your phone may warn about installing apps from outside the Play Store — that is expected for test builds.

  1. Tap the download button above.
  2. Open the downloaded file (check your notifications or the Files app).
  3. If asked, allow your browser to install unknown apps — this is Android's standard gate for apps that do not come from the Play Store.
  4. Tap Install, then open CleanScan and scan something.

On a registered iPhone?

If Suresh has registered your iPhone (Apple requires each test phone to be registered first), open this page in Safari — not Chrome, and not inside another app — then tap:

Install on iPhone

After the install prompt, iOS may ask for two one-time approvals before the app opens — both are normal for test builds:

  1. If asked, turn on Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode (the phone restarts once).
  2. If opening shows "Untrusted Developer": Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → trust the developer entry.

No install prompt at all? You're probably not in Safari — copy this page's address into Safari and tap again. "Unable to install"? Your phone isn't registered yet — ask Suresh. Just want to try the app without registering? Use the Expo Go setup instead.

Found a product we don't know? Something looked wrong?

The easiest way: tap "Report this scan" on the verdict screen — you can add a note and, for photo scans, the label picture. Or report the barcode number shown on the "Not in our catalog" screen — word for word, every message is a clue.
